The frontierThe pass that separates Chile y argentina. The Chilean side is extremely steap and quite of a hairraiser when you are in front of the bus that sometimes leans over the edge.

TigreThe delta where 3 big rivers join and form the Rio de la Plate is very beautiful. The city of tigre is the city that serves the population of the delta whose only mean of transportation is by boat.

MontevideoThe building behind the flag was begun constructed in 1957 and has not finished yet - due to financial technicalities. The building that was intended to be the ministry of justice is located at the centre square of Montevideo, and the president is thinking of moving his office here.

Plaza de independenciaBelow the sculpture the remains of the liberator of Uruguay, general Artigas, are kept. In the background the "Salvo Tower" is a close copy of the Barolo tower of Buenos Aires.
